Summer School For 12-Year-Olds
We understand that preparing for a 12-year-old to join a summer school can be both an exciting and nervous time for children and parents. Our dedicated team of staff is available 24-hours a day to assist with any needs that a student might have during their stay with us. Your child will grow in confidence, have fun with students from all over the world, and develop their English language skills in a multi-national, safe, and secure setting.

Students can choose from an exciting range of courses, created specifically for international learners and tailored to age ranges from 6 years old to 17 years old. As well as our General English course, suitable for Beginner level (A1) or above, we offer several courses through which students learn the English language through the study of a subject. Residential Summer School & Day Camps
Ages 6-12
Day Camps
Students who travel with their family can choose to attend one of our Day Camps alongside local English children. These camps take place Monday – Friday and enable children to join activities with local children of the same age, whilst also having 2 hours of English lessons each day. Our Day Camps are available in 12 locations around the UK.
Ages 11-15
SBC at Canford School
SBC Canford Summer School takes place at Canford School, ‘Independent Boarding School of the Year’ (2018) and ‘Tatler Public School of the Year’ (2019). The idyllic grounds and impressive facilities give students a traditional British boarding school experience. Students will join an engaging academic programme of their choice. Outside of the classroom, an exciting programme of activities and events are planned every day.

Summer Boarding Courses at Eton College provide our students with the opportunity to study at one of the world’s most famous schools. Founded in 1440 by King Henry VI, Eton College has educated 20 British Prime Ministers as well as numerous authors, scientists, actors, Olympians and explorers.
