Sustainable Futures at Earlscliffe
Earlscliffe | Ages 14-17+
This highly relevant course offers an exciting and thought-provoking mix of theoretical and practical activities designed to encourage responsibility, commitment and purpose in its participants through self-reflection.
Case studies will consist of both global and local initiatives and their interaction with the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals.
Students will develop skills through a series of skills-based workshops, lectures, independent learning, and study tours. During the course, students will construct an academic essay on a topic of the student’s choice to put into practice the skills that they have developed.

Life on the coast: rising sea levels; erosion; locally-sourced food; leisure activities and tourism
Activities including kayaking; paddle-boarding; cooking; sustainable farming visit; coastal expedition; cycle tours
