Is this programme for you?
Students arrive with different interests and ambitions, but many recognise themselves in at least one of these.
You want to spend time in the city itself with the added benefit of coming back to a safe, settled place at the end of each day.
You enjoy practical activities, teamwork and real-world challenges, that give you the tools to research, structure and present ideas.
You are curious about future careers and want exposure to real industries and professional environments that help you make better decisions about your future.
Sound familiar? This programme was built for you
Delivered at Dulwich College, this campus offers two focused pathways. Career Discovery (delivered in partnership with InvestIN) introduces students to a range of industries through immersive, practical learning and a visit to UCL. English Adventures provides a structured approach to building English fluency, combining classroom learning with activities and excursions across London. Both are designed to develop confidence, independence, and key skills for the future.
Adventure Programmes Two weeks building English through football, sports science and teamwork — plus the mindset behind real performance.
Adventure Programmes Two weeks building confidence in English across London, with lessons and projects that put the language to work beyond the classroom.
Adventure Programmes Two weeks in London exploring medicine, finance, business, computing, AI and engineering — and building the English to discuss them.
Beyond the classroom
The Dulwich College summer school helps you prepare for university and for your future career. You study your subject in small classes and learn by doing. You give presentations, work in teams, and solve real problems. You might work on a business problem, plan a project, or improve your English by talking with others. If you join the Pro Football Club Experience, you continue your football training as well.
Academic experience
Students join their chosen programme for the first academic session of the day. Career Discovery students explore professional industries through practical workshops, simulations and collaborative projects. English Adventures students develop their English through engaging lessons and real-world communication activities. Pro Football Club Experience students take part in specialist sessions, which may take place on campus or with a professional London football club.
Inside the classroom
The second session builds on the morning’s learning through presentations, teamwork and practical challenges. Students might solve a business problem, prepare for a project, develop their English through discussion and collaboration, or continue specialist activities as part of the Pro Football Club Experience.
Public Speaking & Presentations
No two afternoons are the same. Depending on the day, students may continue working on practical projects, head into London to explore the city’s landmarks, museums and cultural attractions, or take part in organised activities on campus. Every afternoon is designed to extend learning beyond the classroom while making the most of everything London has to offer.
As part of their enriching two-week experience, students will enjoy two full-day excursions to London designed to complement their academic journey with cultural exploration. These outings offer a well-balanced opportunity to engage with iconic British destinations, providing both stimulating and restorative experiences outside the classroom.
Famous landmarks, world-class museums, cultural attractions and time to explore the city.
Explore some of London’s world-famous museums. Students experience inspiring collections covering science, technology, design, natural history and culture
Career Discovery Only – Attend a day at London's Global University – University College London and prepare yourself for school, university and job interviews. Learn how to develop a basic CV appropriate for all ages and understand how to differentiate yourself from an early age.
Students from every programme come together for whole-school events, house competitions and evening activities. From quizzes and Secret Cinema to sports tournaments, talent shows and themed events, evenings are designed to help students relax, build friendships and enjoy life as part of the Dulwich community.
We’re proud to celebrate our students’ achievements in style with a leavers party. At the end of each two-week summer course the celebration offers moments of reflection and an opportunity to recognise achievements, both personal and academic, alongside new friends.
Our leavers celebration is often the highlight of many students’ experience. It offers the chance to dress up, have fun and celebrate the amazing friendships that have been formed during their stay.
Level up your summer with our optional extras, available at an additional cost with limited spaces, so add them to your package when you book.
Step behind the camera and experience what it takes to make a film. Led by a professional filmmaker, students work with professional equipment and take on roles across the production process — from directing and acting to camera, sound and production. Working in small teams, students develop an idea, plan their scenes and bring their story to life on location at Dulwich College. By the end of the day, each team will have created their own short film.
Step into the world of professional theatre. Students might begin with a practical drama workshop, exploring performance, character and stage skills through games, exercises and group work. They then travel into central London to see a West End production live on stage — giving them the chance to experience how professional performers bring a story to life. Full day, including West End performance.
See what you can create when you combine your imagination with AI. Led by a specialist, this hands-on Studio challenges students to take an idea and turn it into something they might not create alone. Working individually and in teams, students experiment, make choices and bring their ideas to life. They might create images, video, music, stories or even an interactive experience — with plenty of opportunities to test ideas, change direction and see what is possible.
Students on Career Discovery or English Adventures at Dulwich can add professional football coaching alongside their studies. Training with experienced coaches in first-class facilities, they develop technique and tactical awareness — and join football excursions such as stadium tours.
