Discover Earlscliffe Summer
Earlscliffe is a UNESCO School located in the charming coastal town of Folkestone, just 54 minutes from London and a short walk from the beach and town centre.
Operating as a top-performing independent sixth form college during the academic year, Earlscliffe offers a personalised, academically ambitious environment. Housed in beautifully restored buildings dating back to 1870, the school consistently ranks among the leading coeducational boarding schools in the southeast of England for A-level results.
As a proud UNESCO School, Earlscliffe actively engages in European educational collaboration, offering students a globally minded learning experience.
Our Academic Approach
At SBC, learning goes beyond the classroom. Students don’t just listen – they take part. Through practical activities and projects, they get the chance to apply what they’ve learned and build real understanding, with guidance from supportive tutors.
The programme also helps students grow key soft skills they’ll need in life – like critical thinking, leadership, communication, and teamwork. These are all part of programme here at SBC.
In class, students are encouraged to speak up, solve problems together, and take ownership of their learning – much like they might in future study or work settings. Our tutors help guide and inspire them along the way.
