Our university preparation summer schools are designed to support students in applying to their top choice universities whether that be in the UK, USA, or home country. The courses focus on helping students to understand the application processes of different universities and what they are looking for in prospective undergraduate students. The programme will also help students to develop key study skills that will be utilised once at university.

Preparing for University
Alongside developing academic study skills to help them succeed at university, students will also experience what it is like to study away from home in an English speaking environment. Students will be expected to carefully manage their time and prepare independent work, whilst also having access to an exciting social programme that will enable them to spend time with like-minded peers.
English for Academic Purposes
Throughout the course, qualified teachers will be available to support students with their English language skills. This will be particularly pertinent for our modules that focus on academic writing, as students are supported to construct critical arguments using the English language. Students will also receive support and feedback as to their current IELTS level and how to ensure they achieve the required IELTS score required for their universities of choice.
