Future Business Leaders
Headington Oxford | Ages 13 - 16
At Headington School our Future Business Leaders programme is designed to inspire the next generation of business leaders.
By providing students with a comprehensive insight into the key concepts of international business, our young learners are able to gain a fantastic headstart in their preparation for a successful career in business.
All classes are small sized, multinational environments, providing ample opportunities for students to develop their English language skills whilst studying an engaging topic.
Students are provided with an interactive and collaborative environment to learn in, as we believe that students learn most effectively whilst immersing themselves in communicative project work.
By enrolling onto our innovative Future Business Leaders programme you will explore and develop a skill set which will make you stand out in a competitive environment.
Working together to design a start-up business, you will create a product and pitch it to a panel of experts for investment; enjoying a simulation of the workplace and putting theory into practice, boosting your confidence.
Develop your English speaking and presentation skills, alongside your confidence in innovative thinking, teamwork and leadership, and the art of being a persuasive speaker. Skills which will allow you to have a competitive advantage wherever your future career path lies.

*Earlscliffe fee includes return transfers to/from London Heathrow and London Gatwick for flights/trains scheduled to arrive/depart between 9am-3pm on published arrival and departure day.
For other locations, we provide all our students with the option of using our Shared Transfer Service from/to London Heathrow Airport and St. Pancras International. The fees are:

|Earlscliffe||Included in fees*||Included in fees*|
When a student arrives, an SBC staff member wearing a bright yellow t-shirt will be waiting to greet her/him and accompany them to our Welcome Club. At our Airport Welcome Club, she/he will have the chance to meet other students arriving, have some light refreshments and relax. After a little rest, students will be accompanied by students and SBC staff to board the coach and be taken directly to the school in a private coach.
The Shared Transfer Service can be used by students using the following flight and train times:
Flight lands on arrival day: 06:00-17:00
Flight take-off time on departure day: 08:00-18:00
The times outlined above also apply to students arriving and departing from Kings Cross St. Pancras train station.
If you book a flight outside of these times or to/from another UK airport, we can look at sending a staff member in a taxi to collect or drop off your child, but it will cost more than the Shared Transfer Service. Quotes are available upon request.
If you book a train or flight outside of these times or from another London airport, please contact your Admissions Manager for a private taxi quote. Please note this will cost more than our Shared Transfer Service from Heathrow, Kings Cross St. Pancras (& Gatwick for Earlscliffe students)
Flights must be booked on the arrival and departure dates so that all students can arrive and depart the course at the correct times.
The course input will challenge students at B1 level, however within language teaching it is commonplace for teachers to work with mixed ability classes. Depending on the group’s competency with English and ability to absorb new material, our teachers can adapt to make the lessons inclusive for all.
For this course, a level of B1 and above is recommended to help ensure that students make the most of the programme.
Yes. Each student who completes this programme receives a certificate of completion during a celebration at the end of the course.
Students aren’t required to purchase any textbooks for the course, instead a variety of SBC handouts are purposefully made, all of which were created by our own academic team.
Students should bring their own stationary, but they are provided with notebooks and folders.
