Course Objectives

Future Entrepreneurs is a two-week programme for students who want to understand how business ideas grow and succeed. You’ll explore how companies are built, how markets work, and what makes a pitch persuasive. Through projects and simulations you’ll practise analysing opportunities, shaping plans and presenting with confidence. By the end, you’ll have a stronger grasp of how enterprise works in the real world and the skills to begin shaping your own entrepreneurial path.

Course Modules

Module 1: Building Business Foundations

Learn the essentials of how businesses start and grow. You’ll explore the basics of entrepreneurship, from spotting opportunities to understanding what makes an idea workable. Activities focus on planning, goal-setting and exploring the first steps of launching a venture.

Module 2: Markets and Money

This module introduces you to the world of markets, customers and finance. You’ll look at how businesses attract buyers, set prices and manage resources. Through case studies and interactive tasks you’ll practise analysing trends and making decisions with limited information.

Module 3: Pitch and Present

The final module focuses on communication and persuasion. You’ll work in teams to prepare a pitch for a business idea, shaping your message and delivering it with clarity. These sessions give you practical experience in presenting confidently and working under time pressure.

Key Learning Outcomes

Business Planning and Strategy
Gain practical experience in planning, decision-making and resource management through business challenges and case studies.

Communication and Pitching
Develop communication and presentation skills by preparing and delivering business pitches with confidence.

Collaboration and Problem-Solving
Build teamwork and problem-solving abilities by working collaboratively on projects that reflect real business scenarios.

Master Public Speaking & Presenting Time to Shine

Time to Shine is your platform each week to step forward and show what you can do. It’s where ideas turn into performances, experiments or displays, and where you learn to speak with clarity and confidence. Every showcase is a chance to practise presenting like a scientist, entrepreneur, or artist of the future, while celebrating how far you’ve come in just a few days.

Through Time to Shine, you’ll practise speaking clearly and confidently in front of an audience. Presenting your project helps you structure ideas, explain them in your own words and build the confidence to share them with others. These are the first steps in mastering public speaking, a skill that will support you far beyond the classroom.

Future City 2050 Festival

Design a city that doesn’t exist yet. Shape its skyline, invent its technology, decide how people will live. At the end of the week the festival opens: lights up, exhibits on show, performances in full flow.

Ideas that keep the city moving

Step onto the stage as a founder of tomorrow. Present the big idea that makes city life possible in 2050: a new way to travel, a smarter way to live. Hold up your prototype, reveal your poster, and win over the “investors” in the audience with your pitch.

Future Global Leader

Mission: Impossible?

Enter a world where nothing is certain. Take on survival challenges, create bold solutions, and bring the story to life in a showcase filled with invention, art and performance.

Inventions for survival

Step up as an innovator under pressure. Present the product that helps people endure the toughest conditions, whether it’s new technology, a vital service or a smart everyday tool. Stand in front of the panel, hold your prototype high, and persuade the audience your idea can carry humanity through crisis.
