SUMMER BOARDING COURSES
Friday at Earlscliffe
It’s Friday morning at Earlscliffe and there’s a clear sense of rhythm to the day. The first week is drawing to a close, but the atmosphere remains lively and focused as students move through their morning lessons, ready for another busy few days.
The trip to London on Wednesday was a clear highlight. After a full day exploring the capital, students returned with stories, souvenirs and tired feet, having made the most of the chance to see one of the world’s most iconic cities. It was a long day but one filled with memorable moments and lots of laughter.
Yesterday’s UNESCO Debate Day brought a change of pace. Students took on new roles, worked closely in teams and impressed staff with their engagement and thoughtful discussion. The evening’s beach BBQ gave everyone the chance to relax after the day’s efforts, enjoying good food and warm weather by the sea.
Back on campus, the timetable has remained full but balanced. Evenings have offered quieter moments, including downtime in houses and preparation for what’s to come. There’s been a real sense of purpose across the programme, with students supporting each other and settling well into life at Earlscliffe.
Looking ahead, the rest of today includes a combination of academic sessions and activities, with Casino Night set to round off the evening. Tomorrow brings sports, a local shopping trip, and of course, the long-awaited Earlscliffe’s Got Talent show—always a highlight in the calendar.
With the sun still shining and the weekend programme ready to begin, it’s shaping up to be a strong and positive end to the first week.
